(2024-present) Sex ratios of harbor seal haul-out sites.

Co-advised with Dr. Dietmar Schwarz.

Haley is working with Maren to examine potential factors that may explain the different sex ratios across harbor seal haul-out sites in the Salish Sea. In addition, she is collaborating with Rachel Strober to continuie the long-term study on the foraging behavior of harbor seals along Whatcom Creek in downtwon Bellingham, WA.

Rachel Strober

(2024-present) Foraging behavior of harbor seals.

Rachel is continuing the long-term study on the foraging behavior of harbor seals along Whatcom Creek in downtwon Bellingham, WA. In addition, she will develop and assay to determine the sex ratio of Pacific salmon consumed by sea lions. This independent project is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Erin D'Agnese of WildEcohealth and Western alumnus.
